  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Easter Mini Eggs (Cadbury or Lindt)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Gently mix in chocolate chips and mini eggs.
  5. Transfer dough into the prepared pan and press down evenly. Optionally, add more mini eggs on top.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes until edges are golden but center remains chewy.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares.
