Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Easter Mini Eggs (Cadbury or Lindt)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Gently mix in chocolate chips and mini eggs.
- Transfer dough into the prepared pan and press down evenly. Optionally, add more mini eggs on top.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until edges are golden but center remains chewy.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares.
