- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- Colored candy melts (pink, blue, purple, white)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the room temperature butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour while mixing on low speed until fully combined.
- Slowly incorporate the sweetened condensed milk while occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Shape tablespoon-sized portions of dough into egg shapes and place on a wax paper-lined pan. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Melt the candy melts according to package instructions. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted coating using a fork, tapping off excess before placing them back on wax paper to dry completely.
