  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 24 truffles 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Colored candy melts (pink, blue, purple, white)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the room temperature butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  2. Gradually add the all-purpose flour while mixing on low speed until fully combined.
  3. Slowly incorporate the sweetened condensed milk while occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Shape tablespoon-sized portions of dough into egg shapes and place on a wax paper-lined pan. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Melt the candy melts according to package instructions. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted coating using a fork, tapping off excess before placing them back on wax paper to dry completely.
