- 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- Salt and black pepper
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- Fresh herbs (basil and cilantro)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, mix together the chicken with chopped garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Top with slices of butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While baking, prepare the sauce: heat butter in a pot, add spices and sliced fresno pepper, then stir in honey and lime juice.
- Once the chicken is cooked, spoon the sauce over it before serving.
