Instructions
- Warm whole milk and unsalted butter until melted; cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine the warm milk mixture with sour cream, yeast, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth; let rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour.
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter with brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, roll tightly into a log, and slice into pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish; let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk, melted butter, and vanilla; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
