- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1–2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 4 slices cheese (any variety)
- 4 brioche buns
Instructions
- Preheat your gas grill to medium-high heat (about 450°F).
- Brush grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, spices, and form into four patties.
- Refrigerate the patties until cold.
- Grill the patties for about 6 minutes for medium doneness without pressing down on them.
- Add cheese in the last minute of cooking and toast brioche buns if desired.
- Let the burgers rest for 10 minutes before serving on brioche buns.
