- 3 large ripe bananas, sliced

- 0.5 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or plant-based butter.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the sliced bananas gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, walnuts or pecans, and chocolate chips; sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Allow cooling slightly before serving warm.
