- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano or basil, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
- Spread softened butter on the cut sides of both halves.
- If using, sprinkle garlic powder over the buttered rolls.
- Layer shredded cheddar and mozzarella evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Place the top half back onto the cheesy bottom and press gently.
- Wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes for a golden crust.
- Let cool slightly, slice into portions, and serve warm.
