- 500 g beef brisket, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 100 ml light soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 100 ml beef broth
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat the beef strips with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Sear the beef until golden brown; remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, and broth; stir well.
- Return the beef to the pan and simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Serve hot garnished with green onions and sesame seeds over rice or noodles.
