- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp vinegar
- 1–2 tsp red food coloring
- 1 cup chopped Oreos (about 6–7 Oreos, plus extra for topping)
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, vinegar, and red food coloring until just combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until no flour streaks remain. Gently fold in chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips.
- Using a medium cookie scoop, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers are slightly underdone. Optional: top with extra Oreo chunks and white chocolate chips before cooling.
