  • 9 cups Rice Krispies
  • 9 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Red food dye
  • Blue food dye
  • Patriotic sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×13 pan by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. For the red layer: Combine 4 cups of vegan marshmallows and 3 tablespoons of butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat until smooth (about 1 minute and 30 seconds). Stir in red food dye, mix in 3 cups of Rice Krispies, and spread evenly in the pan.
  3. For the white layer: Repeat using another batch of 4 cups vegan marshmallows and 3 tablespoons butter; mix in 3 cups Rice Krispies without coloring. Spread over the red layer.
  4. For the blue layer: Combine another batch of marshmallows and butter, heat until smooth, add blue food dye, mix in 3 cups Rice Krispies, and spread over the white layer.
  5. Top with patriotic sprinkles and gently press down.
  6. Cover and let set for about 4 hours before cutting into squares.
